Illegal Buildings in Kemang to Be Demolished

Jakarta Governor, Basuki T. Purnama admitted has instructed related officials to demolish illegal buildings in Kemang, South Jakarta. Especially for buildings above water channel.

No certificate is categorized as illegal building. We’ll surely demolish it

“No certificate is categorized as illegal building. We’ll surely demolish it,” he said, Wednesday (9/7).

This effort is run as part of decreasing flood impact. Buildings are surely disturb the water flow, and cause flood at several areas.

City Adds Heavy Equipments to Krukut River

The time of demolition is handed out to Dept. of Water Management and mayor. They will check the certificate and other documents.

“I have asked the officials to run my instruction. When, it depends on the agency and mayor,” he added.
